SHALLOW SIDE'S STORY
Since coming into the rock scene in 2012, Shallow Side hav released a little of everything - including several EPs, a full-length album, a compilation album plus a number of assorted cover songs and singles.
The band originated from the small town of Cullman, Alabama playing their special brand of rock n' roll.
Their 2007 EP, ONE spurred three radio singles: Rebel, Renegade (a powerful Styx cover) and Can You Hear Me that began to get them noticed and earned them the title of Loudwire's 'Best New Artist of the Year'.
In 2019, the band released their first full-length album SAINTS & SINNERS which contained their most streamed-song to date, Sound The Alarm. The album was produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette (Mammoth WVH, Slash, Sevendush, Alter Bridge, Sebastian Bach). Like many bands, the Covid virus and shutdown halted much of the promotion and touring of the album.
The upcoming full length album REFLECTIONS will be released in the summer of 2024 and will include 11 bangers. The band used several producers including Kile Odell (Motionless in White, Cane Hill, Through Fire, Nita Strauss) and Chris Dawson/James Beattie (Any Given Sin, Saul, GEARS). The band took their time with the recording process which started in 2022 and wrapped up near the end of 2023.
Their extensive music catalog has now surpassed more than 50 million streams globally, and their music videos have eclipsed 17 million views on their YouTube channel and another 25 million views created by users on YouTube.
All their music since 2006 has come out under Thermal Entertainment whom is also their management.

FILTERS (2024) to appear on REFLECTIONS
“Filters” is a piece that showcases Shallow Side’s first collaboration and with one of their favorite vocalists in Elias Soriano of Nonpoint.
Eric Boatright said “The band were deep into a writing session in Nashville, finished up the song and it felt like it was missing something. Sam and I were discussing the song and we were jamming some Nonpoint and said we gotta get Elias on the track. I hit him up and he got right back. He added the final missing piece to the song.”
The song is probably their heaviest to date. It was just released on Friday, 4-26-2024 and will be going to radio in May 14th, it already has early ads from Sirius Octane and Music Choice. The song has also been placed by Pandora on several of their major playlists out of the gate.

“Anthemic. Melodic. Chaotic. Shallow Side & Elias Soriano do a great job of blending edgy riffs and sultry vocals on this track!” - on Filters

YOU'RE THE REASON (2023) to appear on REFLECTIONS
“You’re The Reason” is a piece that showcases Shallow Side’s darker tones as a band, with as much melody as possible. The song contrasts rhythmically dissonant guitar riffs with a pure and rich melodic chorus. Lyrically, the song focuses on an individual who has been manipulated by someone to the point where they no longer recognize themselves.
Released on 4-14-2023, the song has become their highest charting single at radio coming in at #30 on Billboard, #33 on Mediabase, #14 on SMR and #29 on Auxio.
